X-Rays are an important part of an accurate diagnosis and the endodontist will tell you how many of them need to be taken during treatment, depending on the complexity of it.

X-Rays are essential during therapy because the pulp is in the center of the tooth and run by the root, which is not seen with the naked eye, so to know certain necessary measures to perform a root canal, to see the shape of the conduit through which the pulp is ,and the state of the tissue surrounding the tooth, making radiographs necessary.

No need to worry about radiation that may be generated as the radiation used in dentistry is low and the patient will also be protected with a lead vest with thyroid protector.
