Healthy Pulp

The dental pulp is the tissue found inside the tooth, it is a tissue made up vessels, nerves and is surrounded by hard tissue, so that when it suffers swelling and not been able to expand is important that the cause is removed immediately or it will provoke irreversible damage on the pulp.

When the pulp is inflamed it is called "pulpitis" and it is important to identify it and go to the specialist, in this case, the endodontist, to determine if you need a root canal or probably still be in time to stop the process by eliminating the cause of inflammation and not need a root canal treatment.

It is essential a healthy and free of pulp inflammation, although this does not mean that if this is exposed to cold or heat does not respond with a slight discomfort that lasts between 1 and 2 seconds at most after withdrawing stimulus.
